On March 28, 2025, Liza and Isabel attended the Seventh World Conference on PCDH19 in Rome, an international meeting that brought together researchers, clinicians, and patient advocacy groups focused on PCDH19-related disorders (https://www.pcdh19conference.org/). The conference provided an excellent forum to discuss the latest advances in basic and clinical research, exchange ideas with international colleagues, and strengthen links with the PCDH19 community. Participation in this meeting reinforces our commitment to collaborative research and to translating scientific discoveries into meaningful outcomes for patients and families.
